7. Project Scope and Changes
Only the deliverables specifically agreed upon in the quotation, proposal or project agreement are included in the project price.
Additional features, significant design changes, new functionality or changes to previously approved requirements may require additional fees and revised timelines.
Any additional work should be approved by both parties before implementation.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- MakeTechStuff retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, reusable code, frameworks, methods and development resources.
- Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licence terms.
- Ownership or usage rights in custom project deliverables will be governed by the applicable project agreement.
- Where ownership is agreed to transfer to the client, the transfer will generally take effect after full payment has been received.
We do not claim ownership of materials supplied by clients.
9. Third-Party Services
Projects may involve third-party providers such as hosting companies, domain registrars, payment gateways, plugins, APIs and software platforms.
Their availability, pricing, security, policies and performance are controlled by those providers.
We are not responsible for independent service interruptions or changes made by third-party providers, although agreed technical assistance may be provided.
10. Website Performance and Results
We aim to deliver services professionally and according to the agreed specifications.
However, we do not guarantee particular search engine rankings, website traffic, sales, leads, conversions, revenue or business outcomes unless a specific measurable commitment is expressly agreed in writing.
Results may depend on factors outside our control.
11. Confidentiality
We will take reasonable steps to protect confidential project information received from clients.
Clients must also protect confidential business information, credentials, proprietary materials and other information shared by us.
Any additional confidentiality obligations may be included in a separate agreement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MakeTechStuff (OPC) Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services.
Our liability will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the relevant project agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or discontinue website access or services where reasonably necessary due to unlawful activity, security concerns, material contractual breaches or non-payment.
Project termination and its financial consequences will be governed by the applicable project agreement and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Changes to existing client project agreements will require the applicable contractual process or mutual agreement.
